Luz Solar Electric Generating Systems - ESA Engineering

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding related to the Third Party Contractor delegate agent for plan check and construction inspection for the Luz Solar Electric Generation Systems, Units IX and X the Commission must find that SEGS Units IX & X will be built in conformance with the applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and standards (LORS). The San Bernardino County Chief Building Official (CBO) will be the CEC delegate CBO for enforcement of the local building codes. LCI will retain the services of ESA Engineering, A Corporation (ESA), as an independent qualified third party contractor (TPC) approved by the CEC Staff to assure that each of SEGS Units IX & X are designed and constructed in conformance with the requirements of LORS that go beyond the scope of the local building codes. In addition, ESA shall conduct an independent plan check and construction inspection for the applicable LORS that are not covered by the local building codes.
